Deep Water Ocean Lab
Inspired by Star Citizen and Subnautica, this project focuses on concepting and building a modular sci-fi environment in Unreal Engine 5.6. The goal was to strengthen my environment art skills and deepen my understanding of AAA pipelines.
I had the privilege of being mentored by Nate Stephens, who guided me through the entire environment art workflow, from initial blackouts and high-poly sculpting to mid-poly modeling, texturing, material creation, lighting with Lumen, and final presentation.
I owe Nate a big thank you for showing me your process and workflow during the mentorship; it was a great learning experience.
